Durham is my little piece of heaven. I enjoy having access to literally hundreds of acres of preserved open space to walk with my dogs. My neighborhood is rich with wild life in addition to great neighbors, one of which is a master gardener and willing teacher.
As a town, we are in the process of updating parts of our master plan and zoning ordinance with a goal of revitalization of our downtown. The town has made a promotional video to help attract new business development and highlight our best features for those looking to move here. Click here to watch!
Every Friday afternoon, our Town Administrator, Todd Selig, provides us with "Friday Updates" for those who sign up with an e-mail address. The "Friday Updates" keeps us connected with town news on events and happenings in various town departments as well as other civic and special interest events in our town. I have come to look forward to the "Friday Updates" as they usually include at least one photo of town news. It's like our own weekly e-newspaper! Check it out!
